In addition to the abstracts submitted to the conference, authors may optionally submit a full manuscript to be considered for publication in a special edition of Solid State Electronics. The deadline for manuscript submission is June 10, 2008 at the Symposium. Only papers which have been presented at the conference will be considered for publication.
Procedure for submitting manuscripts
All manuscripts must be accompanied with a cover letter indicating the names and contact details of five potential referees who are not affiliated with the authors. The referees must not all come from the same country.
Both the cover letter and manuscript must be in PDF or MS-Word format.
Only electronic submission will be accepted prior to the Symposium. The manuscript and cover letter should be submitted as an attachment to an e-mail sent to istdm2008@elitepco.com.tw. Please indicate "SSE Submission" in the subject line. The manuscript and cover letter may also be submitted at the symposium on a CD labeled with "SSE Submission", the title of the manuscript and the name of the submitting author, although electronic submission is the preferred method.
Manuscripts submitted to the special issue should NOT be uploaded to the Solid State Electronics submission website (this will come after the first round of refereeing).
Length limit of Manuscripts is as below:
Invited contribution: 6 -10 journal pages
Regular contribution: 4 - 6 journal pages
And must describe original, substantial work of high quality suitable for publication in the journal. Manuscripts that are clearly too short, too long or that recapitulate or significantly overlap with already published work will not be considered.
The manuscript style should follow that required by Solid State Electronics. At the very least the format should be double-spaced, formatted single-column style, with high-quality figures and tables following the body of the text.
